A great photo from Marrakech can be made from Jemaa el-Fnaa square facing the Koutoubia. Great view of this amazing structure. This is a fine example of Moroccan architecture from the Almohad times.
There’s s legend around the top golden spheres on top of the minaret, where supposedly the wife of Yaqub el-Mansur gave all her golden jewelry to melt down to build the fourth globe, as compensation for her failure to keep the fast for one day during Ramadan.
