Moroccan riads stand for the most beautiful houses in Morocco. These houses called riads follow a certain type of organization of space where the whole interior is spread and distributed from a central patio courtyard. Moroccan riads courtyard architecture is astonishing and breathtaking in most cases. A courtyard is an enclosed area by a building that is open to the sky.
On this page I will chose some nice photos of several Marrakech riads I know and that I have been. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I’m sure it is pretty much every person opinion that this type of Riad in Marrakech architecture is indeed a fine example of Moroccan houses.
