Flag of Bahrain
The national flag of Bahrain comprises a white band on the left and a red stripe on the right separated by a zigzag made of five white triangles pointing to the right side of the flag.
These five triangles of Bahrain’s flag represent the five pillars of Islam.
The color red is supposed to represent Kharijite line of Islam.

The smallest of the Arab states and the financial capital of the Gulf, Bahrain was the first country to open its door to tourism in the 1970s, in cooperation with the national carrier Gulf Air.
Islam is the religion of Bahrain, with 66% of the Shia Muslims population and 33% of Sunni Muslims .
Bahrain is located off the east coast of Saudi Arabia, comprising an archipelago of 33 islands in the Gulf. The largest island is Bahrain Island, which connects with the other three.
Bahrain is connected to Saudi Arabia by 25 km long motorway called King Fahd Causeway.

Al-Fateh Grand Mosque is one of the few mosques in the Arab world that are open to non-Muslims. It can accommodate up to 7,000 faithful and has the world’s largest dome made of fiberglass.
The Bahrain Fort, also known as the Portuguese Fort, has always been one of the main attractions of Bahrain.
Approximately 25% of the population lives in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
