Lesson 1.1 – The connection of the letters – LETTER B
The letter “B” in Arabic is written like this:
Basically whenever you see a word in Arabic with one point down, this will always be a letter “B”. This letter below is the letter in isolation, standing alone.
If now we want to join “B” the another “B” it looks like this:
Notice how the letter got a new shape at the beginning of the word. We always have 1 dot below the letter to identify it. Now we have BB.
If we want to join another “B” it looks like this:
Notice how the letter got a new shape in the middle of the word. It’s a bit like at the beginning of the word but always what defines the letter “B” is dot below the line. Now we have BBB.
