Lesson 2 – The connection of the letters – The word DOOR
The word “door” in Arabic is written like this:
As you remember from previous lessons letter “B” has a dot below and letter “A” is a raised stick. You have thus your first word in Arabic: DOOR – BAB (pronounced BAB). The letter “A” is attached to previous letter and not connect to the following one, and it takes a prolonged sound of “A”.
